Talk:Pres. Parallel Susie

Is Pres. Parallel Susie the same character as Parallel Susie, and if so, should the pages be merged?

A friend of mine recently asked about this, and they brought up the Super Kirby Clash Channel and its entry on the Parallel Susie and Pres. Parallel Susie. This post heavily suggests they are the same character, especially with lines such as "...we decided to give her a new design as Pres. Parallel Susie. We only requested the following from the designer for this new design:

• Make Susie seem colder than her usual self."

and "We requested this because she inherited the title "Pres." from a cold villain that tried to invade Kirby's home, Pop Star. In this way, Pres. Parallel Susie evolved from Parallel Susie, so we asked to show her evolution in the design."
From these quotes, it seems as though Pres. Parallel Susie is the same character as Parallel Susie just more "evolved" as it says. That's just one way to interpret this, however. What do you all think? --Basic Person (talk/contribs) 05:43, 26 November 2023 (UTC)

Ehhhh? Oppose. I read this as her having evolved conceptually from Parallel Susie rather than having literally evolved as a character. I still think it's ambiguous whether Parallel Susie and Pres. Parallel Susie are supposed to be the same, even with this statement. StarPunch (talk) 06:03, 26 November 2023 (UTC)

I mean... you can see regular Parallel Susie sitting on top of Magolor's Shoppe in the Castle Village in the game. I'm of the firm belief that they aren't the same character, based on that fact alone. I agree with it being evolved conceptually rather than in-universe, especially considering that they have different skin colors. ---PinkYoshiFan 15:19, 26 November 2023 (UTC)

As I said on Discord: it appears unclear if they are the same character or not. Per how we did with Shadow Kirby before there was explicit confirmation that the Fighters Shadow Kirby was the same, I prefer to keep the pages separate and mention how it's unclear if they are the same or not. There is a bunch of parallel universe shenanigans so maybe this Susie is basically an alternate version of Parallel Susie. Or it is indeed a future version of her, but are they from the same universe? In short, I think we should keep them separate nothing how it's unclear. - Gigi (talk • edits) 18:44, 26 November 2023 (UTC)

Another point to bring up: currently, we have Wild Edge, Wild Frosty and Wild Bonkers as separate pages from Gigant Edge, Mr. Frosty and Bonkers, even though all of the three are mentioned to be the regular enemies directly in their descriptions. This appears to be a similar case to Parallel Susie and Pres. Parallel Susie, no? So, for consistency, if we are keeping those pages separate, I think the same should be done for the Susies. - Gigi (talk • edits) 16:26, 11 December 2023 (UTC)

I believe the quote mentioned is not meant to imply that Parallel Susie and Pres. Parallel Susie are meant to be the same. If they were, the symbols they use would likely also be the same. So, I also think the pages should stay separate. --Samwell (talk) 18:49, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
