m (i think that if something is from in-game, then a reference isn't needed unless its a really obscure line of dialogue)
(Added KBlBl and 25th Orchestra versions. It took me so long to even realize if the KBlBl version was even different than the DDDD version, determined it was due to the percussion so added some possibly useful info. The info can be deleted if deemed unnecessary.)

This article is about the "Floral Fields" theme. For Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe stage, see Floral Fields (Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe).
This article is about the "Floral Fields" theme, and should not be confused with Flower Fields.

"Floral Fields" is a theme composed by Jun Ishikawa for Kirby: Triple Deluxe. It's heavily associated with the first level of the game, Fine Fields.

Game appearances

Kirby: Triple Deluxe

Kirby: Triple Deluxe marks the theme's debut and is used in Fine Fields - Stage 1, Old Odyssey - Stage 1, and Royal Road - Stage 3 (before getting Hypernova). It is also used for the Flower Land Battle Stage in the Kirby Fighters Sub-Game. It appears as Track 005 in the Jukebox and Track 03 on Kirby: Triple Deluxe Soundtrack.

Kirby Fighters series

The original theme makes a comeback along Flower Land, and it is also used for the Waddle Dee Train Tracks Battle Stage in Kirby Fighters Deluxe.

In Kirby Fighters 2, the original theme is again played in Waddle Dee Train Tracks, while an arrangement of the theme can be unlocked as the secret song for said Battle Stage after reaching a Fighters Rank of Level 92.

Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe

In Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe, a slow paced arrangement of "Floral Fields" plays in the stage of the same name.

Kirby's Blowout Blast

In Kirby's Blowout Blast, a slow paced arrangement, similar to the one of Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe, plays as a bonus theme when scanning the Waddle Dee amiibo. This arrangement lacks much of the percussion used in the Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe arrangement, possibly due to the percussion being used to guide the player's rhythm and as such not needed in a non-rhythm game.

Super Smash Bros. series

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the original theme is one of many songs available for The Great Cave Offensive, available by default.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the original theme reappears and can be used in all Kirby stages, Battlefield, Final Destination and their derivatives, available by default from a new save file.

Other appearances

The theme was performed live in the Kirby 25th Anniversary Orchestra Concert as part of the Kirby: Triple Deluxe Medley, along with "Moonlight Capital", "Taranza, the Master of Puppetry", and "Fatal Blooms in Moonlight".

In The Sound of Kirby Café 2, "Floral Fields" is arranged along with "One of the Miracles" as part of a medley called 空と花の香りの思い出 (Remembering the Sky and the Scent of Flowers). It is an upbeat acoustic remix that can be found here as Track 11.

The Play Nintendo web game Kirby: Triple Deluxe Match-Up features the original version of "Floral Fields" as it's background music. Interestingly, here the intro is skipped, and only the first section loops, with the music getting back to the beginning just when the second section is about to start.
