"Forest/Nature Area" is a music track that first appeared in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. It was composed by either Hironobu Inagaki or Atsuyoshi Isemura.
Game appearances
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
"Forest/Nature Area" makes its debut in this game. It is heard at most of the areas of Rainbow Route. It is named "Forest/Nature Area" in the Kirby & The Amazing Mirror Sound Plus album, and can be found as track 4 in the game's sound player. An alternate variation of the theme plays at the beginning of the game when Kirby and his clones are heading to the Central Circle, where the Dimension Mirror lies.
Kirby: Squeak Squad
A slightly faster-paced and higher pitched remix of the theme plays in Stage 3. It can be found as track 8 in the game's Sound Room.
Team Kirby Clash Deluxe
A remix of the theme plays during the normal staff credits. It plays after the Quest Board theme.
Kirby Fighters 2
A remix of the theme is associated with Shadow Kirby on floors 25 and 45 of the final chapter of the game's story mode and when fought on Very Hard difficulty in Single-Handed Mode. A short rendition of the theme plays when encountering him under both circumstances before battle. Another remix of the theme will play along with the Start Stage theme if the player stays in the Options menu for 86 seconds.
Super Smash Bros. series
The original track from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror plays in the Halberd stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, it was replaced by a chip-tune then bombastic remix of the theme, which appears as one of the default tracks of the The Great Cave Offensive stage.
The remix also returns in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where it can be played in any Kirby stage, Battlefield, Final Destination, and their derivatives, much like any other Kirby tracks.
Other appearances
The original version of "Forest/Nature Area" was included in two compilation album: The Very Best of Kirby: 52 Hit Tracks and Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition Compilation Soundtrack.
In The Sound of Kirby Café, the theme was arranged by Jun Ishikawa, here titled 木漏れ日のティータイム/森・自然エリア (Teatime Under Sunbeams / Forest/Nature Area).
The theme was also performed live in the Kirby 25th Anniversary Orchestra Concert as part of the Kirby & The Amazing Mirror / Kirby: Squeak Squad Medley, along with "Space Area", "Prism Plains", and "Squeak Squad Appears!".
On Kirby 30th Anniversary Site, the original version of the theme plays when viewing Kirby number 29 ("Cell Phone").
