Ghost Gordo returns in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, here visible without looking through mirrors. It can be found in the dark fun house stage in Wondaria, floating in fixed positions. Initially sleeping, when Kirby approaches too closely, Ghost Gordo will wake and, if it sees him, will start pursuing him, similar to a Mumbies. If Kirby leaves its line of sight, Ghost Gordo will stop chasing and try to look for Kirby again. When using the Light-Bulb Mouth, Ghost Gordos will move toward Kirby when the light is turned on.

Ghost Gordo is a pale ghostly variant of Gordo which features a singular eye in place of a face, making it appear similar to Dark Matter or Kracko. It is typically found in dark haunted regions, and in some cases is invisible unless viewed through a Truth Mirror. Ghost Gordo first appeared in Kirby: Triple Deluxe as a minor hazard, and has since made a more substantial appearance in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, where it gained a new set of behaviors.

Game appearances

Kirby: Triple Deluxe

A Ghost Gordo from Kirby: Triple Deluxe

Ghost Gordo made its first appearance in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. Here, this enemy acts much like its normal cousin, but is completely invisible to the unaided eye. It can only be seen by looking into the Truth Mirror to find its reflection. Like Gordo, Ghost Gordo will either sit in place or move along a set path, and will hurt Kirby on contact. It is invulnerable to attack, and cannot be inhaled, so it is best spotted and avoided.

Locations

In Kirby: Triple Deluxe, Ghost Gordo only appears in Stage 3 and Stage 7 EX of Wild World.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Initially sleeping, when Kirby approaches too closely, Ghost Gordo will wake and, if it sees him, will start pursuing him, similar to a Mumbies. If Kirby leaves its line of sight, Ghost Gordo will stop chasing and try to look for Kirby again. When using the Light-Bulb Mouth, Ghost Gordos will move toward Kirby when the light is turned on.

Locations

In Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Ghost Gordo can be found in Invasion at the House of Horrors, Moonlight Canyon, and Forgo Park.
