Milky Way Wishes: Staff Credits is the ending theme of Kirby Super Star. This theme plays in the credits after beating Milky Way Wishes and is a popular Kirby ending theme, along with A New Wind for Tomorrow from Kirby's Dream Land and Ending Demo from Kirby's Adventure. This theme was composed by Jun Ishikawa, a veteran Kirby composer.

Composition

Milky Way Wishes: Staff Credits first starts with a slow lullaby-like intro in 3/4 time. After this slow intro, a D-note can be heard, the speed picks up , and the time signature turns into standard 4/4 (the key also changes from D-flat major to G). The theme then plays a triumphant melody.

Game appearances

Kirby Super Star/Kirby Super Star Ultra

As stated above, this theme plays in the Staff Credits after beating Milky Way Wishes. The ending theme in Kirby Super Star Ultra differs, however, as the key has been moved a half-step lower (meaning it plays in F-sharp major as opposed to G major).

Kirby Star Allies

An acoustic remix of this theme appears in a medley called Best Friends, Forever and Always, a medley that also contains A New Wind for Tomorrow and the ending theme from Kirby's Adventure. This medley was composed by Hirokazu Ando and is the 184th song in the Jukebox.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The latter portion of this theme can be heard in the remix of Staff Credits - Kirby's Dream Land.

Other appearances

An orchestral remix of this theme was made for the Kirby Ultra Super Deluxe Original Soundtrack. This theme is the 36th and final track of the CD.

This theme was also present in the Kirby 25th Anniversary Orchestra Concert and the Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Fest. In the former it is the last song to play in the concert by itself, and in the latter, it plays in a medley called Kirby Endings with other Kirby ending themes.
