Prism Plains - Stage 3 is the third stage of Prism Plains in Kirby: Squeak Squad. This is the first stage to contain Mid-Bosses, and features the first appearance of the Squeaks. This stage also marks the debut of the Animal Copy Ability.
Overview
The stage consists of five main areas. The first places Kirby in a deep forest area with lots of grass tufts. A Flamer patrols the area, which can help Kirby burn the grass down, revealing items and a hidden doorway leading to a 1-Up. The main door forward can be found to the right.
Kirby then finds himself in a cliffside region, with thin floor decks leading upward. A bubble containing the Fire ability can be found along the way. At the top, Kirby will need to face down against Mr. Frosty (or Tedhaun) to make the door forward appear.
The next area is a small grotto, which opens up to another section of forest, dotted by small lakes and Scarfies.
The path continues along a forest walkway past a few Gordos and a bottomless pit. From there, Kirby can find a Gaw Gaw and swallow it for the Animal ability. This can be used to dig through a sand pit further right and find a Treasure Chest.
The last area is a flat walkway with an unavoidable large treasure chest on the path. Picking it up triggers the first appearance of the Squeaks, who appear behind Kirby and begin to chase him. Chief among them is Spinni, who will steal chests from Kirby if he hits him, then run into a hideout further right. Kirby can pursue Spinni into this hideout to recollect the chests, but will have to deal with a large number of Squeakers in the process. Inside the hideout are also two bubbles, one containing the Spark ability, and the other containing a meat on bone. Back outside, the stage exit is located to the right, up a shallow cliff.
