- This article is about the Waddle Dee who trades Kirby figures for Rare Stones. For Waddle Dees in a general context, see Waddle Dee.
“ | If you ever feel like collecting more figures, I'm always ready to trade! | ” | — Trader Waddle Dee, in Kirby and the Forgotten Land |
Trader Waddle Dee is a Waddle Dee who appears at Gotcha Machine Alley in Waddle Dee Town, in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. He is the last Waddle Dee to appear in town, appearing after Kirby clears the Ultimate Cup Z in the Colosseum, and is distinguished only by the fact that he is holding a blue Gotcha capsule. His purpose is to help Kirby collect any remaining figures that he is missing, and will give Kirby a randomly-obtained figure he does not have in exchange for a Rare Stone.
If Kirby already has every randomly-obtained figure, Trader Waddle Dee will point this out, but will still offer to trade with Kirby anyways. Then Trader Waddle Dee will trade Kirby figures that are not marked with a crown in the figure collection. Figures are marked with a crown when Kirby has collected the maximum amount of duplicates for that figure.
