"Last Boss"[conjectural title] is the final boss battle theme of Kirby's Pinball Land.
Composition
"Last Boss" starts with a buildup consisting of a drawn out note and rapid percussion, before a breakdown of sorts, similar to Mt. Dedede from Kirby's Dream Land and the boss theme from this game. The song then becomes jaunty and bouncy, with a surf rock-type feel. Its bassline mimics its repetitive melody for the most part, while the percussion occasionally picks up speed and a complementary second triangle channel plays alongside it. Eventually, the melody starts to reach a higher pitch before winding down measure by measure, leading to the song looping without its initial buildup, but still with its breakdown.
Game appearances
Kirby's Pinball Land
The song plays in the final boss battle of Kirby's Pinball Land; that being against King Dedede.
Kirby's Dream Buffet
In Kirby's Dream Buffet, "Last Boss" got its first arrangement ever, courtesy of Megumi Ohara. It was rearranged alongside Kirby's Pinball Land's regular boss theme, and can occasionally be heard playing in Battle Royales.
