"Kirby's Dream Buffet" is a theme introduced in the game with the same name, serving as its main motif. It was composed by Hirokazu Ando.[1]

The theme carries a jazzy and joyful tune inspired by "Peanut Plains" at 100 BPM in a swung F major. The main instruments are a variety of brass horns, backed up with a light drum set mostly tapping the cymbals lightly. Saxophones make one of few lead instruments to get a more or less solo appearance in any part of the theme, getting the very first phrase of the melody all to themselves.

Kirby's Dream Buffet[edit]
This theme is the main motif of its game of origin. Its main iteration plays at the Home Table menu. Other versions include:
- "I'm a Hungry Pink Puffball!", race music, synthesized and transposed to E-flat major. Arranged by Yuuta Ogasawara.
- "I'm a Hungry Pink Puffball! (Ver. 2)", an arrangment of it, also race music, unlocked by reaching Gourmet Rank 60. Arranged by Shogo Sakai.
- "Afternoon Tea", the menu theme that plays upon reaching the highest Gourmet Rank, an extended arrangement. Arranged by Hirokazu Ando.
- "Kirby's Ultra-Gourmet Memories", the Character Treat Collection menu theme that plays upon collecting all 256 treats. Transitions from brass to chiptune, forms a medley alongside "Gourmet Race" and "Alternate Corkboard". Arranged by Yuki Shimooka.
- The staff credits theme, in a medley alongside "On a Fun Drive with You" and "Gourmet Race".
Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[edit]
In Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, "Kirby's Dream Buffet" plays as a part of the first HAL Room's medley theme, "Secret Area: HAL Room (Kirby's Dream Buffet 1)", alongside "Green Greens" and "Love, Love, Alivel".
Other appearances[edit]
A Kirby JP Twitter post for Kirby's Dream Buffet from Oct 8, 2022 features a sample of "I'm a Hungry Pink Puffball!".
"I'm a Hungry Pink Puffball!" is paired with "On a Fun Drive with You" and the boss theme from Kirby's Block Ball to serve as the default music for the game's Maximus Cup in Tetris 99. "Kirby's Ultra-Gourmet Memories" is also used on the results screen if the player happens to finish in 1st place.
Starting from Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, "I'm a Hungry Pink Puffball!" represents its game of origin in the Past Adventures menu.
"I'm a Hungry Pink Puffball!" is to be featured in an officially licensed collection of Kirby sheet music published by Yamaha Corporation.[2]
