“ | Kirby gained the mysterious Mouthful Mode ability after he flew through that vortex... Now he can stuff an entire car into his mouth! When he does, he turns into a peppy, pink car that can jump and use Turbo Dash. It's a nice day for a scenic drive. Turn up the radio! | ” | — Figure description from Kirby and the Forgotten Land |
Car Mouth is a Mouthful Mode that involves Kirby wrapping himself over the top of a car in order to take control of it, allowing him to drive around at high speed and run over enemies. While using this mode, Kirby can boost to gain speed and plow through obstacles (including cracked walls) and make a small singular jump to get over pits. Kirby can acquire this mode by inhaling different cars that appears in the stages. There are two types of cars that Kirby can use for Car Mouth: the first, which is seen in most promotional material, is a blue buggy-like car, while the second is a red race car decorated with yellow and blue accents. In at least some cases, the Car Mouth is used in racetrack-like courses where Kirby can set record times by reaching the finish.
One of the food items purchasable at the Waddle Dee Café is based on Car Mouth. There is also a figure based on it.
Move-set

- Car Mouth Kirby has a unique "Appeal" animation. If the player presses a direction on the Control Pad, Kirby will bounce from side-to-side a couple times.
