"Forest/Nature Area" is a music track that first appeared in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. It was composed by either Hironobu Inagaki or Atsuyoshi Isemura.

Composition

Kirby finds a lucky 1-Up in the middle of the forest.

Forest/Nature Area has a steady 4/4 beat and is in the key of F# (sharp)/G flat-major. The theme has a rather triumphant tone to it, with trumpets and drums to go along with it. The first portion of this theme starts with the main melody, with an instrument that bears liking to a steel drum. The portion following it is much louder, changing the key to E flat minor for a moment. After repeating a beat with triplets 2 times (with more instruments being added the second time), the song loops.

Game appearances

Kirby & The Amazing Mirror

"Forest/Nature Area" makes its debut in this game, heard in most of the areas of Rainbow Route, and can be found as track 4 in the game's Sound Player.

An alternate variation of the theme plays at the beginning of the game when Kirby and his clones are heading to the Central Circle, in the Labyrinth Entrance Stage. This variation is named 迷宮入り口ステージ (Labyrinth Entrance Stage) on Kirby & The Amazing Mirror Sound Plus and can be found as track 2 in the Sound Player.

Kirby: Squeak Squad

A slightly faster-paced and higher pitched remix of the theme plays in Stage 3 of Prism Plains Stage 3 of Cushy Cloud in Kirby: Squeak Squad. It can be found as track 8 in the game's Sound Room.
