Bouncy, originally known as Bouncy Ty (either a pun on "Bouncy Toy", "Bouncy Tie", or simply a misspelling), is an enemy debuting in Kirby's Dream Land 2. It is a pink, springy, toy-like creature that wears a pale red ribbon, has two beady eyes and a red seat above its spring. Hence its name, Bouncy continually bounces, although sometimes it may leap forward attempting to stomp Kirby. Bouncy gives no Copy Ability when inhaled.
Game appearances
Kirby's Dream Land 2
Bouncy Ty first appears in Kirby's Dream Land 2; they are introduced in Grass Land. Bouncy Ty, along with Waddle Dee and Bronto Burt, are the most common enemies in this game.
Locations
Bouncy Ty can be found in the following levels and stages:

Kirby's Block Ball
Bouncy appears as a common enemy in this game, and is worth 600 points when defeated. It also drops an Ability Changer, making this the only game in the series where Bouncy can provide a Copy Ability (albeit indirectly).
Kirby's Dream Land 3
Bouncy also appears in Kirby's Dream Land 3, where their behaviTemplate:Or is basically the same. Like in Kirby's Dream Land 2, they are first seen in this game's version of Grass Land, but they are not very common here.
In later stages, drawings of Bouncies appear on certain walls, alongside drawings of Waddle Dees and Bronto Burts. These can become sentient to attack Kirby. After coming to life, Bouncy drawings function exactly like regular ones.

In Kirby's Dream Land 3, Bouncy can be found in the following levels and stages:

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
Bouncy reappears in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, and a mid-boss who is simply a giant version of Bouncy appears in the second stage of Pop Star. The mid-boss has the same behaviTemplate:Or as its smaller counterparts; it does not move, but bounces repeatedly in place.

Bouncy appears again in Template:KCC KPP, behaving the same as in past installments. As with other common enemies, it can be stunned using the Magical Paintbrush to make it easier to defeat. Bouncy is among the more prevalent enemies in this game, appearing in every level except The World of Drawcia.

Kirby Mass Attack
Bouncy appears in the Kirby Mass Attack Sub-Game Kirby Brawlball, acting as a source of points in the upper portion of the main board. There are three of them lined up, worth 10 points the first time they are hit, with the value incrementing by 10 each subsequent hit.
Template:KRtDL KAW
Bouncy returns in Template:KRtDL KAW; its behaviTemplate:Or hasn't changed. A new, uncommon enemy named Bouncy Sis is a bigger version of Bouncy that appears alongside their smaller counterparts, resembling the mid-boss from Kirby 64.
Additionally, there is a variant of the Bouncy that lives on Halcandra. It behaves the same, but has a black and white colTemplate:Or motif. Their face is similar to Void Termina's.

“ | Everyone knows the only reason Bouncys like to bounce so high is 'cause they like the view from up in the air. Things just seem more...peaceful up there. Every day is a good day to Bouncys. No one's gonna keep 'em down! | ” | — Bouncy's Figurine description |
Bouncy returns in Template:KatRC KatRP, behaving the same as in past installments. They can be easily defeated by Kirby's Touch Dash or Waddle Dee's spear. They are worth 100 points and 3 Point Stars when defeated.

Trivia
- Bouncy's top half, and Bouncy Sis' by extension, resembles Kirby greatly, except for the bow.
- In Kirby's Dream Land 2 and Kirby's Block Ball, Bouncies have two small strands of hair on the side of their heads. This detail is absent in all later appearances.
- In Kirby's Block Ball, Bouncies can get knocked out of their spring, suggesting it is some sort of vehicle, not actually a part of their body.
- According to their Figurine description from Template:KatRC KatRP, along with their Dedede Directory post[1], Bouncies jump because they enjoy the view.
